On a quiet slope in North Hilo, cacao trees grow beneath the rain.
Planted by hand since the summer of 2016, tended with care,
now bearing fruit — slow, steady, red, green and golden.

Among them: over 150 kinds of tropical fruit and flowering trees,
woven into a living quilt of food and shade.

A homestead, not a factory. A forest, not a field.

The first harvest came in 2020. Since then, cacao is fermented, dried, roasted, cracked — then tempered into something simple and extraordinary.

Small-batch chocolate made on the farm where it grows.

Named for haʻa, the Hawaiian word for humility. A quiet offering. A celebration of place.
