Today I planted another dragon fruit. About a year ago is when I got about 50 segments from Sandy in Honokaa. Each segment had tiny roots emerging from the ends. I potted each one about 2 inches deep in mostly black cinder (90%) with some potting soil. I staked each one with a piece of bamboo I harvested and now there are enough roots in each pot to hold onto most of the cinder.
