Today I planted a Calamansi tree and I can’t believe we don’t have a producing tree already. We actually planted one from seed thinking that it might produce fruits. But after 6 years of growing and no fruits we decided to chop it down and replace it with a legit grafted tree that will produce quality fruits.
Calamansi is a great mini citrus to squeeze on every dish. It has so many uses as a beverage, marinade, or preserve and often required in Filipino cuisine. Even just adding it to water makes it 10 times better!
Other citrus we planted: Meyers lemon, Tahitian lime, Finger lime (pink), Buddha’s hand citron, Navel Orange, Tangelo, and a wild root stock lemon.
