I planted 5 mamaki plants today. Mamaki is a stingless hawaiian nettle and the leaves make a great evening tea with a hint of sweetness. Mamaki is good for people who want to lower their blood pressure and cholesterol and its also healthy for your liver too. They prefer to grow in partially shaded areas and we are growing them here and there as an understory shrub.
The cacao I potted several weeks ago sprouted. Today I potted up 50 cacao seeds plus two durian and three mangosteen seeds. Hopefully the cacao seedlings will be ready to go in the ground around November.
One of our muscovy ducks hatched a bunch of ducklings. 11 total! 🐥🐥 🐥🐥🐥 🐥🐥🐥 🐥🐥 🐣
