Cutting it close… I started getting nervous as we had friends visiting today and I didnt plant my tree for the day. The good thing is that I always have a spot ready for more cacao trees and I can easily go plant it in the dark at this point.
This cacao tree is a failed ICS95 graft on a UH8 root stock. This tree is pretty old and root bound already but it seems to be vigorous and hardy so it might be worth growing for seeds to use for future cacao grafting purposes.
