Early morning today, I planted an Almirajo tree which is a large-ish tree that produces a fruit similar to eggfruit but I bet it tastes completely different. There is not much info on it online, but it’s related to cacao and durian and it comes from the region of Choco in Columbia where its enjoyed by the locals. Mahalo Joe for another rare tree for the orchard!
Thanks everyone for all the birthday wishes, I had a blast today. Mary made me an amazing flourless chocolate cake with sesame seed brittle and we grew the chocolate and the black sesame! Went to a funny hat & ice cream party at Zach’s where we reconnected with and made new plant friends. Thank you Zach for the lions mane mushroom bag! We are so stoked!
