Today I planted a fast growing Panama berry tree also known as Jamaican cherry that I got from Adam. They produce these red cherries containing lots of tiny seeds. The fruit is extremely sweet and delicious and people say it tastes like cotton candy or a sugary cereal. It’s also called strawberry tree in some places, and I love strawberries. How did I not hear about this fruit??? It’s native to Mexico all the way down to Bolivia but is grown all over the world. Panama berry is a Mutingiaceae called Mutingia calabura, the only one in it’s family. I’m pretty excited to try one.
Julia grew the biggest sunflower I’ve ever seen. It’s about 1.5 shakas long!
