I started to divide and repot a bunch of bromeliads that made new keiki. Some made just one or two new keiki, others made up to five. If I keep this up I’ll have enough to fill up the orchard with them. Now that pineapple season is winding down it’s time to think about pulling off most of the pineapple keiki also. The long row has about 380 pineapples planted and there’s an average of 5 keiki per plant. So that means we’ll have close to 2000 new pineapples to replant soon.
