Today I planted three Sesbania sesban trees near the front of the property. They have proven to be resilient and quickly grow even in harsh situations. Its been a challenge to establish any trees out front. Theres one spot in particular that gets full sun and it stays really dry and is often very windy. I planted three Neem trees about 5 years ago and only one of them grew into a decent sized tree. I tried kukui nut and it didn’t work, and bananas won’t grow any taller than 7 feet. I’m hoping that I can figure out how to establish an effective windbreak here soon so I can plant more things in the large open field behind this.
