Day 345: I set up my first chocolate 'booth' today at Mike and Jackie's open farm event.

I set up my first chocolate ‘booth’ today at Mike and Jackie’s open farm event. I didn’t bring any chocolate to sell but I was able to see most of the neighbors to have them sample our recent chocolate creations. I received some great feedback and made some new fans.

Today I planted a replacement durian tree where I planted one before. Unfortunately the other one got covered in guinea grass over the summer. Establishing a forest takes time and there is always a push and pull with the weeds.

It was Adam’s birthday today. We had a small kine pizza party with some friends and we jammed out music till around 11:30 p.m. which is like 2:30 a.m. in Laupahoehoe standards. I’m very lucky to have a friend like Adam close byto nerd out on plants and permaculture. Drumming on the cajon with Adam’s superb musicianship is what got me through this year. Thanks Adam for being who you are, Happy Birthday!
