Today I planted the 4th and final fig tree. From about 20+ cuttings these were the four trees that took. Figs are one of the first domesticated fruits from West Asia and they love warm and dry mediterranean weather.

By choosing the right spot and incorporating a lot of cinder and rocks we can theoretically adjust the micro-microclimate to suit their needs. This is probably our 3rd attempt growing figs. Just gotta keep trying, I know that it’s possible!
