Today I planted a Garcinia celebica also known as Seashore mangosteen. The fruit is segmented just like mangosteen and is slightly sour and has an apple peach flavor. I got to try just one fruit that Julia brought home November 2019 and I sprouted four seeds from it and all are ready to plant 1.5 years later! Not sure how long these take to fruit, I hope it’s not like mangosteen which is 12 to 20 years of waiting!
