This morning I planted a dragon fruit. A while back I started about 40 cuttings that I got from Sandy and the plan is to have them grow down a hillside in a very sunny spot. This is the red/purple flesh type dragon fruit and Sandy said it is delicious!
My parents are visiting from Oahu right now. We went to Hapuna beach today and I realized I haven’t been to the beach at all this whole year. We saw some nene hanging out by the pavilion. They looked pretty thirsty. Hapuna beach was flat as a lake today and my mom wanted to boogie board so we went to Magic Sands beach instead. I couldn’t believe how jammed packed it was. This did not stop my mom at all from riding some waves. Not bad for being close to 70. I’m sorry… to the people who got ran over…
