Today I transplanted some oyster plants that were growing out the gravel pathway. It must have sprouted from seeds and it’s been growing there for almost a year now. Also known as Moses in the cradle or boatlily, this is a pretty common and easy to grow groundcover plant for landscaping in Hawaii.
Hilary got a bunch of bamboo shoots from our neighbor down the street today. As she was carrying it up the hill she was offered lumpia from another neighbor to trade for some shoots!
