Today I planted a Casturi (Mangifera casturi) that I got from Joe. This is a relative of the common mango (Mangifera indica) and is considered to be extinct in it’s wild habitat in Borneo due to over logging. Unlike most mangoes this one will set fruit on the rainy side as it prefers to grow in wet climate zones. I’m a big fan of mango and I’m very excited about growing this tree! Thanks Joe!
