Today I planted a strange quince tree into a larger pot. What’s odd is this root cutting ended up growing like a vine. At one point I started braiding it together and it’s still very flexible.
Not sure if this will produce any fruits so we decided to keep it in a bigger pot near the house to keep an eye on it.
Quince is a relative of cherries, apples and pears. But to eat quince you need to cook it, so it’s often turned into jelly or cooked in stews with gamey meats.
After 64 days of planting I finally got around to washing out all the pots! It was a lot.
