It’s getting pretty soggy out there. Starting tomorrow we’re expecting it to be exceptionally rainy. Today I planted another cacao tree and I harvested cacao pods. I will probably crack them open tomorrow.
Also discovered that the white sapote tree is starting to flower!!! It’s one of the first trees I bought in 2013 after moving to the Big Island. When we moved from Ahualoa, we transplanted it here in 2015.
Funny thing is that we never really tried white sapote before. Our friends are crazy about them and I hear that it tastes like lemon, banana and vanilla pudding.
