Day 111: Today I planted a cacao tree

Day 111: Today I planted a cacao tree. It's been hot and sunny lately and the cacao beans

Today I planted a cacao tree. It’s been hot and sunny lately and the cacao beans that were drying are now ready. The total came out to 35 pounds. Now we let it age for about 8 months and we can start turning it into chocolate! Once the beans are dry you can store them for many years without refrigeration. This is one of the good things about farming cacao.
