Let me take you back to 1991 Wilson elementary school May day celebration. That’s me on the right and my friends Michitaka and Yoshitaka. Each year all students would practice a hawaiian song and hula dance with Kupuna once a week and on May day the whole school performed hula all day. Sometimes when I’m at the airport or somewhere touristy and I hear Pupu a o ewa or some other song that we learned, I can still partially recite the lyrics in my head. Unfortunately I forgot the whole dancing part but Im probably improvising that in my head as well.

Happy Lei Day! Here are some flower pictures from the farm and around the island.

Oh yeah… Today I planted a cacao tree as the sun was setting.
