Today I planted a fig tree that we got from Melanie. Sometimes you plant a tree and everything goes so perfectly that you know it’s going to take. This tree was very much like that today. The other figs that I planted earlier this year are growing surprisingly good too. I gave them all more food and mulched them well.
When Julia first came to Hawaii in 2009 from Germany to do an internship with CTAHR on Oahu that’s where she met Melanie (also from Germany) who was working on her PhD at the time. They somehow both ended up on the Big Island a few years later. What are the odds???
