Today I planted a custard apple that I discovered in Ken’s nursery. There’s a lot of fruits out there that end up getting called a custard apple…. This one is an Annona reticulata in the same family as soursop and rollinia although less common. I heard it kind of tastes sweet like a mild cherimoya, with a tart tropical yogurt flavor.
