Today was a surprisingly busy day for me and I planted an oregano in the border of the garden this evening with a flash light on. Holly from the Mala’ai garden shared a potted plant with us. I’m kind of surprised that after all these years we haven’t really tried growing it. It’s pretty common to see Mexican oregano growing in Hawaii which has much bigger leaves and it can get out of control. Although it’s called Mexican organo its not even a real oregano, its actually in the verbena family. True oregano is in the mint family which make things even more confusing…
