Today I potted up a bunch of seeds that my friend Adam shared with me. Cassabanana, pomegranate, giant lilikoi, and fiberless soursop! Theres a certain satisfaction in sprouting a tiny seed and watching it grow into something extraordinary. I’ve been hooked on it since 2007 when I opened up my first cacao pod and watched all of the growth emerging from pots.
Some of the seedling trees that I’m excited about right now are the seashore mangosteen, borojo, green tea, camucamu and the marang.
Today I also prepared a serious planting hole for a special tree we are planting soon. I planted three more Sesbania trees and a colius around it for support.
