I planted the third seashore mangosteen today, and I have one more for tomorrow. Seashore mangosteen is dioecious, meaning each tree is either male or female and you need both to get fruits. Monoecious trees have both male and female flowers so you can usually plant just one. I have four seashore mangosteens so my odds are pretty decent. We’ll find out in several years.
