Today I planted another cacao tree. I think the beans in this one has a more whitish color inside which indicates mild bitterness and fine flavors.
Our cacao harvest for winter 2021 is starting! When the pods start turning orange/yellow is the sign. I’ll be harvesting them in waves, and the peak will be at the end of December. I’m also seeing that we’re going to have a bonus crop that will extend the season until April!
